Javier J. Pazos, PhD, is President and Co-Owner of Heroica Technologies, LLC, working on research and development of photonics and optical devices that leverage the latest developments in computational electromagnetics (CEM) and additive manufacturing. Javier previously served as the CEM lead at SpaceX, working on the design and analysis of launch assets for lightning and space charging certification. Javier has also served as CEM engineer for Intel Corporation and Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc., a developer of time-domain software.

Stephanie Pazos, PhD, is Chief Scientist and Co-Owner of Heroica Technologies, LLC. She has experience leading research on design, synthesis, testing and application of new materials, polymers, and coatings. She has experience optimizing products for fabrication and commercialization. Stephanie was previously a Materials Scientist at Pattern Bioscience, specializing in materials design for microfluidic devices. She has also served as Polypropylene Researcher with INEOS Technologies, designing polymers and polymer bends for varied applications and developing them into products for commercialization.
