Principals
Javier J. Pazos, PhD, is the Founder and CTO of Heroica Technologies, LLC, working on research and development of photonics and optical devices that leverage the latest developments in computational electromagnetics (CEM) and additive manufacturing. Javier previously served as the CEM lead at SpaceX, working on the design and analysis of launch assets for lightning and space charging certification. Javier has also served as CEM engineer for Intel Corporation and Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc., a developer of time-domain software.

During his career, he has specialized in computational electromagnetics for RF interference, radar signature prediction, antenna design, and photonics. He has led small businesses from startup to acquisition for over 20 years.
